Focus on Equipment Operation and Maintenance Pain Points, Promote the Implementation of Practical Technologies and Refinement of Services

Recently, Hebei Chuangsi Intelligent Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd. has carried out a series of targeted work focusing on energy consumption control and service life guarantee in the actual operation of steam generators. Through measures that meet enterprises' daily operation and maintenance needs, it has enhanced product practicality and service value.  

 

In terms of technical adaptation, aiming at problems such as equipment scaling and efficiency decline caused by water quality differences reported by customers in many regions, the company launched an optimized scheme for "water quality adaptive" steam generators. Combining differences in parameters such as water hardness and conductivity in different regions, the technical team added an adjustable water quality pretreatment module to the equipment. Through hierarchical filtration and ion balance adjustment, the module can adapt to various water source scenarios such as groundwater and tap water. Tests show that this module can reduce the scaling rate by more than 60%, and keep the equipment's thermal efficiency stable above 92%, effectively solving the problem of energy waste for customers in areas with complex water quality. This optimization did not involve large-scale structural adjustments; instead, it was mainly iterated based on equipment operation data from 12 regions with different water quality, focusing more on adaptability to actual scenarios.  

 

On the service front, the company recently launched the "Equipment Health Management into Enterprises" activity, organizing technical personnel to go to customers in the food processing and slaughtering industries in Shandong, Hebei and other places to provide special operation and maintenance guidance. In view of the characteristics of large fluctuations in steam demand and easy scaling of equipment in the slaughtering industry, the team demonstrated on-site the combined maintenance method of "shift-level sewage discharge + quarterly deep cleaning", conducted free water quality parameter testing for customers, and issued customized maintenance plans. For some equipment used for more than 3 years, technical personnel focused on checking the corrosion of heat exchange tubes and replaced anti-aging sealing components to help customers reduce the risk of unplanned downtime. This activity served a total of 18 enterprises and solved 23 practical problems such as scale cleaning and pressure fluctuation.  

 

In addition, in line with the trend of industrial energy-saving transformation, the company's technical backbones compiled the *Handbook for Improving Energy Efficiency of Steam Systems*, which covers practical skills such as pipeline insulation optimization, steam trap leakage detection, and condensate recovery, and distributed it free of charge to cooperative enterprises. The handbook also includes typical energy-saving case data from different industries. For example, food factories can save about 8% of monthly gas costs by optimizing sewage discharge frequency, helping enterprises intuitively master energy-saving methods.  

 

"Customers' core needs are stable equipment operation and reduced comprehensive costs, and our work is to solidly solve these basic problems," said the person in charge of the company's operation and maintenance department. He added that the company will continue to collect feedback on water quality adaptation and daily maintenance, further refine technical schemes and service content, and provide more practical support for customers. At present, the water quality adaptation module has been applied to the production of new equipment, and the special operation and maintenance guidance activities will gradually cover more industry customers.
